Professional liability and legal expenses insurance

The Finnish Union of University Professors has taken professional liability and legal expenses insurance from If P&C Insurance for members who are employed by a third party. The insurance covers issues related to the employment or service relationship of the insured.

The insurance amounts for compensation are 100,000 euro for personal injury and property damage and 25,000 euro for legal expenses. The deductible for legal expenses insurance is 15% of the amount of damage, but a minimum of 150 euro for each incidence of loss. The deductible for liability insurance is 100 euro for each incidence of loss.
