Statement on open access policy component for research methods and infrastructure

According to the Finnish Union of University Professors, the open access policy component for research methods and infrastructure is fairly obscure. Methods, materials and infrastructures are ambiguously stated in different parts of the document, and it is difficult to understand what is actually being referred to. The entire policy component remains highly abstract. A concrete approach is lacking and it remains unclear what concrete problem is being solved and by what means. The policy also leaves open who and what funding would realise the measures listed in the policy.
