Statement on the Government’s draft proposal concerning the duties of a university hospital

The Finnish Union of University Professors supports the proposed change to clarify the duties of university hospitals as part of the implementation of the health and social services reform. However, the Union wishes to draw attention to secondary positions and qualification requirements, as well as to the university’s role in decision-making within the wellbeing services counties.
